South Face of Davidson # 2719

Below is a description of the photograph you were looking for, and the circumstances surrounding the photo.
Date: 2002.05
Vantage Point: From ridge west of Drop Pass

Caption: The large south face of Davidson. There is a spectacular couloir that drops directly from the summit barely visible in this photo.

PhotoDescr: Taken on day four of a six day traverse of the McBride Range. Though a long walk from Rubble Creek, Davidson has some steep rock on this aspect. There are supposedly two routes already, although Mike Spagnut identifies this face as the east face.
