Roxey Creek Cabin # 2711

Below is a description of the photograph you were looking for, and the circumstances surrounding the photo.
Date: 2000.07
Vantage Point: From Roxey Creek

Caption: The dilapidated mining cabin in Roxey Creek during a July snowfall.

PhotoDescr: On the Canada Day long weekend a few years ago, some friends and I attempted the north ridge of Dickson, only to wake up to a few inches of snow (the cabin is about 5500'). Instead of pitching tents, we took refuge in the cabin the night before, firing up the old wood stove, patching doors and windows. I did some reading on Hantavirus when I returned! Creek crossings barefoot in the snow are always fun!
