Roe Creek - Spring # 2708

Below is a description of the photograph you were looking for, and the circumstances surrounding the photo.
Date: 2001.05
Vantage Point: From headwaters of Roe Creek

Caption: The lovely terrain at the head of Roe Creek, Cypress Peak is the obvious pyramid.

PhotoDescr: There is a nice window in mid to late May when snowmoblies have a hard time getting to the snow from Roe Creek and one can have great runs up to about 4000' in silence. On this trip we had mistakenly left the skis behind and ended up post-holing up monotonous slush, watching the loose snow avalanches come sailing down in the sun's heat.
