Caption: Johnston Creek cuts its way through bedrock to form Johnston Canyon in Banff National Park.

PhotoDescr: As Johnston Creek nears the end of its journey from its headwaters near Pulsatilla Pass to join the Bow River, it has its final moment of glory in a series of waterfalls. The trail to the lower falls (seen here) and upper falls is one of the most popular short hikes in Banff National Park, but can also serve as a connector to the Sawback Trail, a 4 to 6 day backpacking route.
