Caption: Below the Valley of a Thousand Falls, the valley of the Robson River crosses an alluvial fan of sand and gravel.

PhotoDescr: The Berg Lake Trail is widely regarded as one of the most spectacular in the Rockies. The trail runs along the west side of Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies, eventually reaching Berg Lake. For climbers who choose not to use helicopter access, the trail is the access to both north and south face routes on Robson. The peak in the background is Cinnamon Peak.
