Mount Sampson and companion peaks from Stanza Peak # 18794

Below is a description of the photograph you were looking for, and the circumstances surrounding the photo.
Date: 2019.08.08
Vantage Point: From the summit of Stanza Peak, looking south

Caption: Various high peaks around the heads of the Hurley River, McParlon Creek, and North Creek.

PhotoDescr: Taken on the fifth day of a 6 day trip to the Slim Creek Headwaters. For much of our trip the view directly south was hidden by Stanza Peak, so once we climbed it we got this nice view of the complicated glaciated ridges on the other side of the Bridge River. Mount Sampson is the highest peak between the Hurley River and North Creek/McParlon Creek, and just a few meters shorter than Mount Ethelweard.

The top of the Pebble Glacier is visible just below Chadwick, and the slopes of Castle Towers Mountain, way down in Garibaldi Park, may be visible at the extreme right horizon, in the haze.
