Stanza Peak summit ridge - from the east # 18790

Below is a description of the photograph you were looking for, and the circumstances surrounding the photo.
Date: 2019.08.08
Vantage Point: From the ridge NE of Stanza Peak, looking SW

Caption: Stanza Peak is the pyramid center-right. Strophe Peak is the lower summit at left, with various peaks around Salal Creek and Athelney Pass in the left background.

PhotoDescr: Taken on the fifth day of a 6 day trip to the Slim Creek Headwaters area. On our final full day in the alpine, we climbed the ridge south of camp to summit Stanza Peak, the highest elevation of our trip. After gaining the ridge, we followed it SW as visible here, over a couple bumps to the main summit. The rock was primarily stable, even heading to the top.

We continued a ridge traverse along the top of the glacier, from left to right in the right background. Views from the summit were expansive.
