Airfoil Peak telephoto from Microscope SE1 # 18781

Below is a description of the photograph you were looking for, and the circumstances surrounding the photo.
Date: 2019.08.07
Vantage Point: From the summit of Microscope SE1, looking north

Caption: Airfoil Peak is the dark peak in the left background. The dark pyramid center-right is AD27.

PhotoDescr: Taken on the fourth day of a 6 day trip to the Slim Creek Headwaters area. Despite its modest appearance in this photo, Airfoil is in fact the highest peak between the Taseko and Lord Rivers, including all the area around Griswold Pass and the Slim Creek Headwaters. It is fairly remote, although with the mining activity in the Granite Creek Valley it may have been climbed more recently by miners. Much of the rock on the ridge visible here is more colorful than closer to Griswold Pass.
