White Cross Mountain from the northeast # 18699

Below is a description of the photograph you were looking for, and the circumstances surrounding the photo.
Date: 2019.08.06
Vantage Point: From the north side of Glacier View Lake, looking southwest

Caption: Various peaks far to the southwest

PhotoDescr: Taken on the third day of a 6 day trip to the Slim Creek Headwaters. From the area of Glacier View Lake we got good views to some of the remote peaks along the edge of the Lillooet Icefield, like White Cross here. It is likely infrequently visited, except for ski tours. The extensive glaciers on the NE side of the peak drain into the big Bridge Glacier Lake.

While that glacier is hidden from this vantage its evidence is not: a high trimline on the right and the extensive outwash at the lower left. We later would get a great view of the lake and glacier from the top of Tuber Hill.
