Argentine Mountain from the South # 18668

Vantage Point: South end of the ridge running SE from Bachelor Pass

Caption: Looking across the basin to Argentine Mountain.

PhotoDescr: The nearest part of the peak is the south ridge and above that is the summit. To reach Argentine from Bachelor Pass/Pyrite Ridge, you'd have to traverse all the little subpeaks on the left side of the photo, which are very chossy.

Note how orange the creek draining the red rock area is. Where this creek flows into Bachelor Ck, it changes this much bigger stream from a fairly clear blue into a silty green.
