Final Summit of Chalco Mountain # 18651

Below is a description of the photograph you were looking for, and the circumstances surrounding the photo.
Date: 2019.08.29
Vantage Point: From false summit of Chalco

Caption: Final peak of Chalco Mountain

PhotoDescr: We started our climb of Chalco from the Chalco-Sulfide pass just 1 km southeast of Chalco. From that pass, you could not see the final summit, and we had assumed we were approaching the summit much lower. But when we reached about 8000' we saw the true summit, still well above us. To get there we traversed along the narrow connecting ridge, and finally we were below the main summit shown in the photo. It was all class 2 or low 3, with occasional use of hands, but no real exposure.
