Ovis Mountain # 18512

Below is a description of the photograph you were looking for, and the circumstances surrounding the photo.
Date: 2019.06.29
Vantage Point: Taken on the Rim Trail just north of the mountain, while heading down to Ladyslipper Lake.

Caption: Ovis Mountain(L) and its slightly lower neighbor to the north(R). I believe the Giant Cleft is the notch at the extreme left of the photo

PhotoDescr: We did a counter-clockwise loop of the southern half of the Rim Trail in Cathedral Provincial Park, summitting Pyramid(?Depending on which map you look at), Stone City and Ovis. This photo was taken on the way down to Ladyslipper Lake. The steep east faces are in contrast to the almost walk-up terrain on the west side.
