Lake Ingalls and Mount Stuart # 18468

Below is a description of the photograph you were looking for, and the circumstances surrounding the photo.
Date: 2016.09.05
Vantage Point: From the south shore of Lake Ingalls, looking NE

Caption: Lake Ingalls, with Mount Stuart behind.

PhotoDescr: Taken on a daytrip lollipop to Lake Ingalls and Longs Pass. Lake Ingalls is situated high in a basin below Ingalls Peak, with a view across to Mount Stuart. There isn't much vegetation around, and it was breezy while we were up there, requiring me to bring out my warm hat for the first time in the season. Despite the chill we watched a couple people jump in the water fully clothed!

Looking for a somewhat sheltered spot we went around the edge of the lake as pictured to the right, which was a little tricky and could be avoided by going the other way around.
