Mount Stuart from Ingalls Pass # 18466

Below is a description of the photograph you were looking for, and the circumstances surrounding the photo.
Date: 2016.09.05
Vantage Point: From Ingalls Pass, looking northeast

Caption: Impressive south face of Mount Stuart.

PhotoDescr: Taken on a daytrip lollipop to Lake Ingalls and Longs Pass. Mount Stuart is a highly prominent and well known peak in the Central Cascades. While it is over 9000 ft high, its position well east of the crest means glaciers are confined to small parts of its northern slopes. It has become a popular climb, due in large part to its high quality rock.

Later in the day we passed below the south face along upper Ingalls Creek, a good 4000 ft below the summit.
