Mix-up Peak from the Sahale Arm/Doubtful Lake Jct. # 18412

Below is a description of the photograph you were looking for, and the circumstances surrounding the photo.
Date: 2016.08.13
Vantage Point: From the jct of the Sahale Arm and Doubtful Lake Trails, looking south

Caption: The main bulk of Mix-up Peak is at center, with the highest point the farthest point along the sharp looking ridge. Cache Col is the low point at the top of the glacier to the left, with the slopes of Magic Mountain to the left of that. The ridge in the right background leads to the Triplets, while part of Mount Formidable can be seen peeking above the ridge center-left.

PhotoDescr: Taken on a daytrip to Cascade Pass and the top of Sahale Arm. From the signed jct with the Doubtful Lake Trail, I got this photo looking back to the complex ridge of Mix-up Peak. While the mountain is prominent above Cascade Pass, the actual summit is out of view from that point along the SE trending ridgeline.

The small glacier at left is the start of the Ptarmigan Traverse, with mountaineers needing to climb it to Cache Col as the first obstacle. The lower col between Mix-up and Magic is the key saddle for Johannesburg Mountain and is sometimes used to access that peak.
