Igitna Peak (Potomac) # 18387

Below is a description of the photograph you were looking for, and the circumstances surrounding the photo.
Date: 2004.05.20
Vantage Point: From the southwest

Caption: Igitna Peak (Potomac) from the southwest

PhotoDescr: This photo was taken in 2004 when Aaron Clifford and Ray Borbon attempted to climb the south face.

Igitna Peak has an impressive west face of granite. The mountain is not the most impressive in the region, when it comes to elevation, but has very good quality rock that will appeal to mountain climbers.

Perhaps the easiest route would be up the gully from the southwest and onto the south face. Time will tell.
