PhotoDescr: Climbing the northeast ridge of Princess Mountain

During 2003 David Parker, Matt Perkins, Bill Pilling and I climbed the northeast ridge of Princess Mountain. We made a traverse from the east originating in a basecamp near the west side of Mount Monarch.

We made a camp below the east side of Princess Mountain on the glacier flats. The climb and descent was done in one day.

I estimated the climb at 5.5 steep snow and ice. Probably a grade III (I believe I am noted as overrating my climbs so try it out and update the rating). I believe this was a first ascent. The trip was published in the Canadian Alpine Journal.
