Revolution Peak from Mailbox Peak # 18358

Below is a description of the photograph you were looking for, and the circumstances surrounding the photo.
Date: 2016.02.20
Vantage Point: From the summit of Mailbox Peak, looking east

Caption: Revolution Peak is the highest triangular summit right of center, with Thompson Point to the right of that. The rocky peak at far left of Russian Butte, with Little Comrade just right of that above the obvious road scar.

PhotoDescr: Taken on a daytrip to Mailbox Peak. Revolution Peak is the highest summit on the horseshoe ridge surrounding Gifford Lakes. It is a easy, if long, trip up the Granite Lakes Trail and then Thompson Point.

The obvious road scar at left is referred to as the "Zorro Road" due to its resemblance to the famous character. The road is high enough up the mountainside that the trees are taking a long time to grow back.
