Caption: The southeast face of Humphreys Peak. The summit trail runs along the south ridge on the left, just behind the skyline.

PhotoDescr: This picture was taken during a hike to the summit of Humphreys Peak. The trail starts from the lower parking lot of the Arizona Snow Bowl ski hill. It switchbacks upward through pine forest, paralleling the north edge of the ski runs, until it intersects with the alpine connecting ridge between Agassiz Peak and Humphreys Peak. This is where the photo was taken. The trail forks here with the left branch following the south ridge of Humphreys Peak to its summit, while the right branch goes north to Agassiz Peak.
