SanFeng (5,355m) - Four Sisters (China) # 17925

Below is a description of the photograph you were looking for, and the circumstances surrounding the photo.
Date: 2017.10.16
Vantage Point: South west ridge

Caption: Third peak of Four Sisters group in Sichuan, China

PhotoDescr: This is the third peak of mighty "Four Sisters" (四姑娘三峰) in Sichuan province, China. Some (but not all) local guides are willing to take you there. However, if you decide to hire one of them, make sure to know exactly where he takes you - the actual top is technical and local guides are just high-altitude porters, not climbers - they will stop on the false summit, which is a bit shorter than the (technical) top. A compromise can be to negotiate bringing your stuff to one of the three base camps and climb the peak on your own, alpine style that is.

The photo was taken from the south-west ridge when two of us arrived to the small township of Rilong and went for acclimatization hike, two days before we summited the 1st peak (Dafeng 5,025m, alpine style / no guides) and just four days before the first snowfall of the season.
