Elusive and Elusive SW3 # 17868

Below is a description of the photograph you were looking for, and the circumstances surrounding the photo.
Date: 2017.09.02
Vantage Point: From the upper western side of the Gott Creek Valley

Caption: Looking eastward across an alpine lake towards Elusive Peak and Elusive SW3

PhotoDescr: From km 5 on Blowdown Creek Road I hiked/scrambled up to the south ridge of Eyeore Peak. Dropping down the other side into the upper western bowl of the Gott Creek Valley I traversed under the northeastern ridge of Eyeore and ascended to where it meets the south ridge of Tigger SW1.

The route from here to Tigger SW1's twin peaks was a pleasant scramble with great views from both peaks. Returning to the ridge junction I dropped straight down into the bowl towards the lake preferring to travel mostly heathered terrain back towards Eyeore's south ridge instead of the talus slopes taken earlier in the day.
