Refuge Peak from Silvern peak # 17858

Below is a description of the photograph you were looking for, and the circumstances surrounding the photo.

Vantage Point: From Summit of Silvern Peak looking north

Caption: This photo shows the three lumps that make up Refuge Peak

PhotoDescr: When we got to the top of Silvern Peak, I had expected we would be on the highest point. But clearly, one of the three bumps you see in the picure was higher. So at some point we would have to go over and investigate. While we were eating lunch, ten goats worked their way from the saddle back to these peaks as a refuge. They bypassed the first one and then the second one, and then could be seen peaking occasionally over the third (leftmost peak.

After lunch, we traversed along the ridge. There were a few easy steps and notches not shown in the photo. Eventually I reached the first (rightmost) peak, which has the simple ridge. Fortunately, it turned out to be slightly higher than the other two peaks which were considerably more rugged.
