Big Interior Mountain from Tom Taylor Ridge # 17685

Below is a description of the photograph you were looking for, and the circumstances surrounding the photo.
Date: 2015.08.26
Vantage Point: From the northeast ridge of Mount Tom Taylor, looking east

Caption: Main summits of Big Interior Mountain, with the highest one second from right.

PhotoDescr: Taken on a 3-day trip to the Bedwell Lake area. On our 3rd day we ascended a subpeak of Mount Tom Taylor, and got good views across the Bedwell River valley to Big Interior Mountain. From this perspective it also looked difficult to ascend the main summit by sidehilling the slopes on this side, but I've since read this is a legitimate route.

The sub-summit we did manage to climb is the second from left, just to the left of the largest visible glacier.

The lake in the basin in the foreground is unnamed, even if incorrectly labeled as Oinimitis Lake on some parks maps. It looks like a great place to camp though, with the meandering stream and meadows.
