Watson Lakes and Bacon Peak # 17555

Below is a description of the photograph you were looking for, and the circumstances surrounding the photo.
Date: 2016.10.12
Vantage Point: From the lower northwest ridge of Mount Watson

Caption: Watson Lakes below with Bacon Peak rear right. Blum, Hagan and some distant Picket Range Peaks left to centre.

PhotoDescr: I hiked the Anderson/Watson Lakes Trail then followed a climbers track on the northwest ridge area of Mount Watson. From a small col at 6000 feet I dropped down to the south side of Watson and scrambled a steep gully up to the summit ridge.

From there a short scramble put me on the small summit which offered up some big views of the Northern Cascades.
