Caption: Fender Peak with Martin Lake below.

PhotoDescr: Vlad and I hiked into the ever increasing in popularity Watersprite Lake. After summitting Gibson Peak we dropped off its southwestern side and found a gully leading down to Martin Lake. One overhanging section didn't look good so we traversed northeast to open slopes which led us down to the lake.

From there we crossed the outflow and followed a grassy/talus ramp to around 1700m elevation then gained the north ridge of Washburn Peak and scrambled up to the summit. This and other peaks in the area have outstanding views of Mamquam Mountain.
