View of Mulvey Group including Gladsheim from Mt Buri # 17402

Below is a description of the photograph you were looking for, and the circumstances surrounding the photo.
Date: 2016.07.25
Vantage Point: From summit of Mount Buri, looking southeast across Gwillim Valley

Caption: The photo shows the ridge with Black Prince and Lucifer, then beyond is the Mulvey Group including Gladsheim, Asgard, Midgard, and Presley.

PhotoDescr: In the foreground is the black lichen covered rocks of the summit of Buri. The immediate next peak along the ridge at right of photo is Black Prince, then in center of photo is the pointed peak of Lucifer. Between Black Prince and Lucifer is the col which we had hiked across earlier in the day. As you can see, the north side of the col is solid snow cover, and with a cornice in center.

On the skyline ridge beyond are the biggest peaks of the Valhallas. These peaks are on the far side (south side) of Gwillim Creek Valley. From the map, I'd say Gladsheim 2830m is the pointed peak at the left and the highest of all the Valhallas. The black triangle further right (west) must be Asgard 2825m, then slightly lower with the glacier is Midgard 2807m. Then a big drop in the skyline ridge above Lucifer and to the right is Prestley 2732m.

Doug Brown labels all these peaks in his excellent The Mulvey Group.
