Caption: Panorama looking south from Overlord Mountain

PhotoDescr: This is the view from Overlord Mountain, looking south. Peaks within Garibaldi Park are prominent, but there were good views far to the south, including Golden Ears and even Coquitlam Mountain. A few peaks in the Sky Pilot area are poking just above he ridge between Hour Peak and Isosceles Peak. The ridgeline in the haze behind Mount Gardner (far right) is Vancouver Island.

According to Peakfinder, the Olympics are technically visible on a clear day in the gap to the left of Hour Peak.

Note Doug for scale on the scree at the bottom of the photo.

The most distant visible peak is Mount Gardner on Bowen Island (82 km), while the highest is Mamquam Mountain (2588 m).
