Castle Towers Mountain from Whirlwind Peak # 16971

Below is a description of the photograph you were looking for, and the circumstances surrounding the photo.
Date: 2013.08.08
Vantage Point: From thew summit of Whirlwind Peak, looking southwest

Caption: Full northern vertical profile of Castle Towers Mountain. Phyllis's Engine, Mount Carr, and Mount Davidson are all visible to the left of Castle Towers.

PhotoDescr: Taken on a three day trip to the Russet Lake area. I took this photo coming back over Whirlwind Peak, after summiting Overlord Mountain. As it dominates the view from Garibaldi Lake, Castle Towers Mountain dominates the view from Whirlwind Peak, which provides a full 1900 m vertical visual from the top down to the Cheakamus River.

Interestingly the large meltwater creek flowing from the Cheakamus Glacier is unnamed.
