Edmond Peak from the East # 16084

Below is a description of the photograph you were looking for, and the circumstances surrounding the photo.
Date: 1986.05.06
Vantage Point: Sovereign Peak

Caption: Edmond Peak above a southern tributary to Edmond Creek

PhotoDescr: We enjoyed these distant views from Sovereign Pk. When I looked at this photo I wondered whether I had forgotten that the glaciers had receded above the junction where we had turned south. I could not remember any difficulties turning the corner. Looking at the satellite view I realized that this is the next valley to the west and identified Edmond Peak.

The highest mountains on the horizon are Mount Gilbert, Raleigh and Grenville.
