The Upper Gott Creek Valley From Eyeore Peak # 15668

Below is a description of the photograph you were looking for, and the circumstances surrounding the photo.
Date: 2012.09.13
Vantage Point: From the summit of Eyeore Peak on the Gott/Blowdown Divide

Caption: A broad southeastern view into the Upper Gott Creek Valley. At far left is a sub peak of Elusive then Kite, Walrus, Strawberry and Rita. Moomin is at right with it's sub peak in front of it. Gott Peak is just left of Moomin. The Siwhe area is distant rear left and Skihist distant centre area of shot.

PhotoDescr: From Blowdown Creek Road (at km 5) I hiked up to the divide then followed it to Eyeore. From there I retraced my steps then continued south along the divide (out of picture right) to summit Moomin's sub peak then Moomin itself. Just south of Moomin I descended a broad gulley, through some dense forest and back to the road.

A couple of weeks later I did a trip to Gott Peak then headed northeast along the Gott/Cottonwood Divide from Rita to Kite - which shows well in this picture and it was a very enjoyable journey. Taxman Peak was also visited that day.

This area can be reached by either the Blowdown Creek Road system or from the West Gott Creek Road.
