Serratus Mountain From the Northwest # 13566

Below is a description of the photograph you were looking for, and the circumstances surrounding the photo.
Date: 1998.08.22
Vantage Point: From small lake on the western side on the Tantalus Range, directly below the Dione Glacier.

Caption: The peak of Serratus is on the left. I believe the peak in the distance in between the two standing climbers is Ionia.

PhotoDescr: Photo taken on a 4-day trip into the Tantalus Range. We approached from the west side via the Sunshine Coast (Salmon Inlet/Clowhom Lake/Red Tusk drainage). From this vantage point we thought we could see the old Red Tit Hut near the base of Serratus on the main ridge but it must have been just out of sight. Thirty years earlier we made a trip to the RTH with the BCMC via Lake Lovely water.
