Vantage Point: From the summit of Mount Noyes

Caption: Most of the many peaks on the Freshfield Icefield. Some of the peaks were occluded in my previous panorama of the Freshfield.

I led a small ACC ascent of Mount Noyes on September 12, 2009. We started by the overflow campground about 5 km south of the Waterfowl Lakes. From there we scrambled up forest with some minor rock bands here and there. We entered a hanging valley leading to the southwest face. From there we scrambled up through mostly scree with some moderate scrambling. The weather was perfect that day and I captured many awesome photos. We returned the way we came.
