Mount Davidson, Castle Towers and The Black Tusk from Cypress Peak # 13095

Below is a description of the photograph you were looking for, and the circumstances surrounding the photo.
Date: 2009.11.03
Vantage Point: From the summit of Cypress Peak.

Caption: A southeastern view from Cypress Peak towards The Black Tusk with Castle Towers looming behind. Mount Davidson is rear left.

PhotoDescr: With fresh snow on the upper Roe Creek logging road Chris Morley and I had a pleasant afternoon trip up Cypress Peak. Snowshoes were worn from just below the glacier which I crossed avoiding obvious crevasses to gain the north ridge of Cypress.

Snow on the crux had me ascend just west of it which was still a little challenging, but after brushing away the snow, holds were good.

Post-holing and rock-walking led me to the small summit and some splendid views in all directions.
