Caption: Mount Gordon is the highest peak in the Wapta Icefield.

PhotoDescr: To the left of the photo is Vulture Col, between Gordon and Mount Olive, and the south peak of Olive. Vulture Col is part of the usual route for ski-tourers on the Wapta Traverse.

I took this photo as our group of six members of the Grant MacEwan Mountain Club were beginning our descent from the summit ridge of Mount Rhondda.
