Vantage Point: Next to the glacier above Bow Hut

Caption: The predawn light illuminates Nick's steep face

PhotoDescr: Saint Nicholas Peak dominates the view from the area of the ACC Bow Hut with its dramatic vertical face. Fortunately, its southern ridgeline is much gentler.

I took this shot as we approached the tongue of the Wapta Icefield that reaches down toward Bow Hut, on an early start for a climb of Mount Rhondda.
