Southward View from July Mountain # 12578

Below is a description of the photograph you were looking for, and the circumstances surrounding the photo.
Date: 2009.04.15
Vantage Point: From the southwest ridge of July Mountain.

Caption: Al L. on the southwest ridge of July Mountain. The Coquihalla area offers up some great ridgewalking and skiing touring. Romeo Peak is centre right and Guanaco further right with Alpaca far right. The Yak area and Needle Peak are rear left.

PhotoDescr: We spent a pretty good day (after the long logging road approach - July Creek FSR) ascending Romeo Peak and then July Mountain. With more time and energy a 5-km ridgewalk to Juliet Peak would have been nice (the ridge leading to it is coming off Romeo and leading out of picture right side).
