Old Crow as Seen from James Callaghan Trail # 12473

Below is a description of the photograph you were looking for, and the circumstances surrounding the photo.
Date: 2009.03.14
Vantage Point: Mid way along James Callaghan trail

Caption: View of east side of Old Crow as seen from the James Callaghan trail

PhotoDescr: I had a meeting on the west coast of Newfoundland in Deer Lake which presented the opportunity of sneaking in a hike on the weekend before I headed home to St. John's. The obvious destination was Gros Morne Mountain, which is accessed by hiking up the James Callaghan trail. I left the car on the road at 7 a.m. in the dark and rushed to my destination as I had to be back at the airport at 5 p.m. This photo was taken on my way back from Gros Morne at around 1 p.m. where the trail passes through a boggy area and affords views of the local mountains.
