Caption: Longstaff from the southwest ridge of the Whitehorn

PhotoDescr: We had planned to climb Longstaff from the Swiftcurrent glacier, the valley below Longstaff, on an attempt to hike around the Whitehorn and Mount Phillips. Unfortunately poor weather and difficult terrain prevented us from completing our planned traverse.

The 3084 m peak to left of Longstaff is unnamed; other peaks in the area which are only called N8, SW7 and SW9 on bivouac are also unnamed. The peaks on the right horizon are Mount Bess and Mount Chown.
