Mount Magog and the Magog Glacier # 11020

Below is a description of the photograph you were looking for, and the circumstances surrounding the photo.
Date: 2003.08.15
Vantage Point: From a kilometer W of Mount Magog

Caption: The northwest face of Mount Magog and its delightful west ridge

PhotoDescr: See Trip Report 5096 for a summary of our climb of Magog. Although one can scrabble up the northwest face at a number of points, these ascents are not especially aesthetic; much more challenging and rewarding is a climb of the west ridge, which involves 2-3 pitches of solid rock that is easily protected, with considerable exposure, and moves to 5.6. The west ridge is the righthand skyline of the massif. When we descended, we did so down the icy couloir on the far left of the photo.
