Traverse Peak and Mount Breakenridge # 10884

Below is a description of the photograph you were looking for, and the circumstances surrounding the photo.
Date: 2008.02.21
Vantage Point: From the summit of Sasin Peak.

Caption: Mount Breakenridge (centre right) with the twin summits of Traverse Peak behind. Possibly Surprise Peak on the far left.

PhotoDescr: Having some spare time before work, I drove a little way up the Chehalis FSR and then snowshoed the Pretty Creek FSR, taking a newer spur that gives access to the NNE ridge of Sasin Peak. From there it's a pleasant forested walk up to the open summit of 1338 m.

The views nearby are of mostly logged hills, but further off are some good aspects of Judge Howay/Robie Reid/Golden Ears, the Stonerabbit/Ratney and Clarke areas along with nice views south across the Fraser Valley to Chilliwack area peaks. The Old Settler is also well viewed from up here.

If you have a camera with a good zoom, there are plenty of mountains to use it on.
