Skihist Massif from the East # 10528

Below is a description of the photograph you were looking for, and the circumstances surrounding the photo.
Date: 2007.08.24
Vantage Point: From the summit of Nikaia Mountain

Caption: Peak 8500' is the prominent pyramidal peak in the foreground.

PhotoDescr: Antimony is a loose but scenic Class 2/3 via its left skyline. The ridge that connects Antimony and Claimpost has some exposed and loose Class 3/4 moments before reaching the summit of Claimpost.

The route that Don Funk and I climbed on Skihist takes the right trending feature below the false summit (Class 3/4). The prominent north glacier has been skied (Condon et al'). A good read on the "season peaks" is found in an article in the 1997 CAJ.
