Caption: The east face of Longs Peak with the Diamond obvious and Mount Meeker to the left. The Notch is obvious downward left from the summit.

PhotoDescr: I was surprised to find a picture of Longs Peak on a US Department of Agriculture website but apparently they study the watersheds and snowpack quite a bit in order to estimate potential water available to the agriculture industry. One main reason they are interested in Longs is the Mills Glacier which lies below the east face, not sure there is much left of it though.
