Dunkeld Peak (Peak 5384' Meslilloet Creek) - North Face # 10502

Below is a description of the photograph you were looking for, and the circumstances surrounding the photo.
Date: 2007.10.14
Vantage Point: From Peak 5100'

Caption: This is the impressive north face of this modest feature in Pinecone-Burke Provincial Park. I clambered up the gulley at left and climbed a great Class 3 route on the east ridge (left skyline). The summit is actually a 3-meter mini spire that requires an easy lie-back.

PhotoDescr: This area at the headwaters of Meslilloet Creek is filled with alpine lakes and small meadows.

The route up from near the end of S-100 (Mamquam FSR) was horrible. A two-hour crap show on 100% slopes filled with blueberry. On the way down I probably fell close to fifty times. One particularly bad slip had me sliding for about 10 seconds.
