Caption: The glacier that adorns the northwest exposure of Scherle is reportedly an amazing ski. The most common ascent route is the west ridge, which is seen in this photo as the right skyline. Class 2 with some amazing summit views.

PhotoDescr: The Slim Creek valley offers a great deal as far as mountain climbing is concerned. The crux is usually the horrible washboard on the Hurley that most southern travelers have to endure.
