Vantage Point: From Nigel Pass Trail near Nigel Pass

Caption: A one-handrail bridge takes the Nigel Pass Trail across the Brazeau River.

PhotoDescr: The lowest point in Nigel Pass is on the right (west) side of the low ridge along the Jasper-Banff park boundary, but from this side the cliffs below that point can be seen. The trail passes around the left (east) end of the ridge, out of view around the ridge coming down from the left.

This photo is the reverse point of view to the photo Upper Brazeau Valley from Near Nigel Pass, which was taken from a point just above dead centre in this photo.

The photo was taken on the third day of a three-day Grant MacEwan Mountain Club backpack. This bridge is just past the Boulder Creek backcountry campground when heading back to the trailhead.
