David Pass is just north of Mount Sir John Thompson in the Premier Range. It is a glacial col on an NW/SE axis. To the NE is the head of the North Canoe Glacier and, in combination with the outflow from the South Canoe Glacier, forms the start of the Canoe River; the David Glacier flows SW to the Raush River. Mt Mackenzie King is just WNW of the pass.
