This pass is found just south of Michel Lake and provides a route from the Tzeo River to South Bentinck Arm via the short Asseek R. FtrHistory: Bella Coola Man by Clayton Mack states that there is a cave near the pass filled with paintings. The pass was used by the Nuxalk to walk from Owikeno Lk. to South Bentinck, a trip which a fit man could make in one day. The pass was used for potlatches as a neutral site (in neither territory). However the pass is also said to be swampy with "millions and millions" of frogs.
