Name Notes: This peak has one of those names designed to publicize organizations. "Fasp" is an acronym for First Aid Ski Patrol. Normally the Geographic Names Committee does not allow self-referential names, or names referrign to acronyms. So in that sense, "Fasp" is a name in the same vein as Veeocee (Which refers to the Varsity Outdoor Club). FASP = First Aid Ski Patrol.
