Located on the north side of the Train Glacier, west of Railroad Pass. From the Train Glacier, the summit is a Class 3 scramble via the mountain's south slopes or southwest ridge. Gaining the Train Glacier from Donelly Creek headwaters requires some tricky route finding - ascend scree benches and slopes on the north side of the massive headwall.
The summit elevation was measured 2001.08.06 with a hand held GPS receiver and found to be 2499 m.
The exact location of the peak does not agree between BC Basemap and the 1:50K map. We use the height from BC Basemap which is 50:35:57-123:04:21, but on the 1:50K, this point looks a bit north of the peak.
