This peak is #57 in Prominence List for British Columbia .This is the highest peak in the Hunters Range, which is east of Sicamous, SW of Three Valley Gap, to the west of Wap Creek and north of the Shuswap River. Mount Mara is just SW of this higher summit, which has an old fire lookout road to its summit. The broad basin to the north is called the Caribou Plateau.

The 2245m elevation is contour estimated off the WSW of a pair of summits; the ENE one, 935m away, is TRIM survey at 2239m and has about 75m prominence.
